Trumpets Heralding a Sound of Joy and a Time of Refreshment
As I was considering the celebration of Rosh Hashanah this week, I could hear the sound of trumpets. The sound was filled with joy… Yes, in the midst of hard times the sound of joy was being sent across the earth. I felt in my heart that the Lord was sending a time of refreshment to His people around the world, from His very presence, and reminding them of past victories.
There is a Scripture in the book of Job which says, “When the Almighty was with us, and our children were around us when our steps were bathed in butter, and the rock poured out for our streams of oil” (Job 29:5-6, emphasis mine). Such a wonderful word of promise… to be refreshed by butter and anointed with fresh oil. The Lord takes great delight in His people. He has heard our prayers and He is responding with such comfort and refreshment… refreshment for our dry bones.
Though it has been a very dry season, the new year will bring healing to our bones, and a refreshing wind of the breath of the Spirit for our lives. We will indeed see, with our natural eyes, the end to some things, and with our eyes of the spirit, we will see the beginning of brand new things. The oil of gladness will be poured out upon all those who are sad and in despair. They will receive new garments of praise for clothes saturated in heaviness.
“Because you received a double dose of shame and dishonor, you will inherit a double portion of endless joy and everlasting bliss!” (Isaiah 61:7)
The Year of Light
The year 5782 will be a year of light. The people of God will be beacons of revelation light and marked with the Spirit of Truth. Yes, the Spirit of Truth will come first to the House of the Lord. In abiding in Christ we will fully know the truth about who we are. We are His and He is ours. This “knowing” will be our freedom.
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)
How bright this freedom will shine! Men and women will be drawn to this light.
Everything will be revealed for what it truly is; even what is whispered in the dark will be heard loud and clear in the light. What is secretly spoken in the inner chambers of the house will become news… names will be given. Some will be caught off guard and surprised by what is revealed, but nothing is hidden that will not be made clear. Secrets will be made known and come to light. Even the nations will be shaken by what will come to pass.
But God says, “You, My sons and daughters – stay humble and be strong in showing mercy. Remembering that My mercies are new every morning, and many who will have fallen or been exposed will come into the Kingdom because of the mercy and kindness you have shown them in My name.”
Fall Is Coming
September is the start of autumn. Every autumn is a season of God’s appointed time and of Him manifesting a new level of His glory. You will see that in this time. Many divine appointments will come together for you. The Lord will help you get established with those who have a similar “destiny assignment” as you. Also, be aware of the little foxes, those small things that can seem unimportant, but will try to lead you on a wild goose chase. Holy Spirit will give you His wisdom and discernment to walk on the right path.
Days will be shorter and nights will be longer. Keep your eyes on the night skies. Yahweh will speak to you as you look up. Press in closer to Him.
